Gil has served thousands of clients in his 41 years in the Insurance Business, hundreds of whom are in the medical profession. He received the "CLU" (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation from the American College in 1972. Gil is a Registered Representative with Met Life which enables him to assist his clients in "variable" products. Multiple professional organizations continue to present him with their most prestigous awards year after year: Million Dollar Round Table-34 years, National Quality Award-39 years, National Sales Achievement Award-27 years, Health Insurance Quality Award-17 years. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by NAIFA, Chicago Region, in 2001. Gil was most recently awarded the Greater Chicago FSP Huebner Scholar Award in 2004. Professional Association Memberships and offices held include: The Chicago Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (President 1978-National Committeeman 1980), The Illinois Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (President 200-2001), NAIFA (Membership Committee Vice-Chair 2002-2003), the Chicago Estate Planning Council, The North Suburban Branch CALU (Past President). It is amazing, with Gil’s professional dedication, that he finds time to participate in, serve on committees, and hold offices for multiple civic and personal endeavors. The Glenview (IL) Park District, Glenbrook South High School Parents Club, Glenview Men’s Tennis Club, North Shore Tennis Federation, North Shore Boy Scout SME Council, Northwestern University Theta Chi Alumni and Gil’s Northwestern 25th Class Reunion Committee have all benefited from his participation and leadership. You may have seen Gil on the Big Ten Basketball courts where he served as an official from 1973 through 1986. Gil, and his wife, are members of the Lutheran Church of the Ascension in Northfield, Illinois. They are the proud parents of three children and five grandchildren.
