John Rippinger, the President of InsuranceLook.com, is a visionary financial services executive and eminently trusted insurance professional.
John entered the insurance business on January 1, 1972 at a time when structured financial planning—as it is known today—was in its infancy. He served his clients fully in the areas of life insurance and disability income protection, but soon gravitated toward group health insurance.
John has adapted his business model to accommodate changes in the marketplace. His approach remains essentially consultative, but the fact-finding has been streamlined. With the advent of the Internet, the sale has moved beyond the numbers. “The difference is in the relationship. It comes down to what kind of service can I provide and what makes my intellectual capital unique?” states John.
John was the founding President of the Northwest Branch of CALU, past President of the Chicago Association of Life Underwriters and the past Director of the North Branch of CALU. He has taught six of the LUTCF courses. The Chicago Association of Life Underwriters awarded John their highest honor in 1992, The Distinguished Service Award. He is also a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, the Association of Health Insurance Agents, the International Association for Financial Planning, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Million Dollar Round Table, Top of the Table, and the Chicago Estate Planning Council. He is a patron of The Golden Key Society SFSP, a Silver Knight MDRT Foundation, and a Grandee Ambassador LUPAC.

Susan Rippinger has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years. She has worked for national insurance carriers and the brokerage community, specializing in both employee benefits as well as individual insurance needs.
In 1996 she accepted the position of Vice-President of InsuranceLook.com, LLC, where she oversees the website’s user experience and broker relationships. Susan also produces her and John’s travel blog/store where you can check out their exciting trips, advice and recommendations.
